BLACKBOARD CONNECT COMMUNITY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM

What is Blackboard Connect?

Blackboard Connect is a mass notification system used by the Town of Highland Park to alert residents and business of emergency or urgent situations, to include:

  • Emergency Situations Involving Public Safety
  • Severe Weather
  • Hazardous Materials Incidents
  • Mosquito Spraying

How Do I Sign Up?

Every month Blackboard Connect automatically retrieves home and business telephone numbers that are available for public access. However, it’s important for you to sign-up to Blackboard Connect and add those avenues for communication where you are most likely to receive the message immediately. We suggest you add the following:

  • Cell Phone numbers - You may receive both voice and text messages. We encourage both.
  • Email Address - You may add multiple email addresses.
  • Additional home or work telephone number
