Each kit comes with a reusable coloring booklet, bath tea, sensory stickers, and more. 

Grab a kit while visiting the Library or email to reserve a kit in advance.

While supplies last. The Library is located inside the Highland Park Town Hall, 4700 Drexel Drive.

An online resource for all creative makers, from basic instruction to advanced techniques. 

Over 1,400 in-depth instructional video classes; covering 20 different creative passions, including quilting, sewing, cake decorating, and painting.

Homework Help


Students in kindergarten through introductory college can receive assistance from live, online tutors using an interactive, virtual whiteboard to chat, write, draw, and copy/paste. 

Tutors are available online Monday through Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. 

Live, online chess tutoring is now available Monday through Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Paper Flowers Workshop


Saturday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m.
Suitable for children and teens 10 and up.

Combine an assortment of hand painted papers and colorful tissue paper and learn to shape them into flowers that will last forever. 

An introduction to basic paper engineering and folding techniques that will give students the foundation to continue making paper flowers at home from repurposed and found papers. 

Registration required.
