The Town of Highland Park will be introducing a State Mandated Backflow Prevention Program to protect against the contamination of the public water supply. This is in accordance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Federal Clean Water Act of 1972 via the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (“TCEQ”).

Road work to begin in Dallas, east of Airline Road, beginning February 9, 2026
TRAFFIC ADVISORY – City of Dallas Road Work Beginning Monday, February 9, two eastbound lanes of Mockingbird Lane located east of Airline Road will be temporarily closed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday - Saturday. During these work hours, traffic will be temporarily reduced to one lane in each direction. This work is Phase 1 of a City of Dallas project. Highland Park staff will monitor all Road Work signage within town limits to ensure proper placement. Weather permitting, Phase 1 is expected to the completed by April 20, 2026. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during the listed work hours to avoid delays. With the temporary lane reductions on Mockingbird, please drive with caution through the work zone.
