   • No items will be permitted for burial under or around the tree.
   • While Town staff will take every consideration into placement and type of tree for purchase, final decisions are at the sole discretion of the Town, as per the Town Donation Policy, approved on January 21, 2020.

27. After reviewing your request, a Town employee will reach out to you to provide the total cost, and payment will be collected by check. The check will be made out to the Town of Highland Park. Donations will be the cost of the tree + 10%, as per the Town Donation Policy. A final receipt will be provided once payment has been processed. All tree donations will be tax deductible.

    By submitting this form, I understand that the tree planted by donation is the property of the Town of Highland Park, which will care for and maintain the tree. I cannot add, alter, or affix anything to the tree at any time per Town Ordinances. Should the tree decline before reaching maturity, it is the responsibility of the Town to get a suitable replacement for the donation.
