Posted on: July 28, 2018[ARCHIVED] Application of Asphalt Sealant: July 31st, August 1st, and August 2nd,
The asphalt surfaces in the 3600 - 3900 blocks Shenandoah, Normandy, and Potomac will receive a protective sealant beginning Tuesday, July 31st. The work will be distributed over a three day period.
The application of protective sealant are anticipated to be completed in one day, weather permitting. Work crews will apply a protective seal to the surface of the asphalt. The sealant will preserve the new asphalt and extend the life of the roadway. Note: Vehicles are prohibited from the roadway to permit work crews complete access to the roadway surface. Vehicles may be parked on side streets, and/or access homes by using the alley. Looking ahead, you may want to contact any contractor performing work at your home to advise them of the temporary road closures.
Tuesday, July 31st, 3600 – 3900 blocks of Shenandoah Avenue
Wednesday, August 1st, 3600 – 3900 blocks of Normandy Avenue
Thursday, August 2nd, 3600 – 3900 blocks of Potomac Avenue
Work hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
