The developer of 4719 Cole Avenue has asked the City of Dallas Plan Commission to table consideration of its proposed zoning change for the property to March 20, 2014. The Dallas Plan Commission approved the request, the second postponement of the zoning request in the last two months.
It appears the developer may be asking for additional time as an opportunity to meet with concerned groups and / or property owners to consider possible modifications to its zoning proposal. The Town will monitor the discussions and continue presenting its concerns of the current, or any revised, zoning proposal.
It is expected that the Commission will rehear the zoning case at its work session on March 20, 2014, and conduct a public hearing at 1:30 p.m. that same day. The meeting will be held at Dallas City Hall, 1500 Marilla Street, in the City Council Chambers located on the 5th floor in room 5ES.
