    Exercising in the water is great way to exercise because it puts less stress and pressure on joints because the buoyancy of the water. Water also acts as a form of resistance, so strength exercises can be performed in the water without heavy weights. Water Aerobics will be on hiatus July 3, - 4, 2019. Classes resume July 9. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, at 9:30 a.m. at the HP Swimming Pool

    Taking the mystery out of mindfulness. We will teach you simple techniques, backed by scientific research, to help you lose some of your stress and gain more of what you want from life. Enhance your awareness in the present moment, unifying your body and mind with gentle movements, stretches and breathing. You leave the session feeling refreshed as well as calmer. also provide other significant health benefits including improved strength, balance, flexibility, circulation, brain function, and immune system. No special attire is necessary, easily practiced in work clothing. All abilities are welcome. No previous experience is necessary.

    Experience Pickleball, the fastest growing sport in the US, with some healthy competition and social fun! This paddle and wiffle ball sport is perfect for beginners and seasoned players alike. The Town is offering Pickleball clinics on alternating Saturdays this summer at Tennis Court #8 (4814 Abbott Avenue). June 1st, 15th, and 29th, 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. July 13th, and 27th, 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. August 10th, 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. Pickleball play equipment is provided for clinic play.
