[ARCHIVED] Mapping Texas: Online Program for Adults

Outline of the state of Texas

The Highland Park Library invites you to join us for an online presentation by Rachel DeShong, Map Curator for the Texas Collection, Baylor University. She will be guiding participants on a journey through the historic maps that gradually define the iconic shape of Texas as we know it. There will be time for participants to ask questions, as well. To view the recorded presentation, please visit the Town’s Vimeo Page.

The Texas Collection at Baylor University has been actively preserving the State’s many maps, archives, and other historic materials since 1923, and presented online to share several interesting cartographic materials held in their collection.

For more information about the Texas Collection at Baylor University and to search their holdings, please visit their website.
