Starting June 2, register online for the 2020 Children’s Summer Reading Club at hptx.beanstack.org. You will find a variety of exciting activities to do this summer, both online and at home.
Programs are available for ages 0 - 5 and 1st - 6th grades. Children can earn points, badges, and virtual certificates by logging minutes read, activities completed, and virtual events attended. Complete the program and Library staff will choose a book to donate in your name to The Warren Center, a nonprofit agency that advocates, serves, and empowers children and families impacted by developmental delays and disabilities.
You may also download and print a Summer Reading Log at home to keep track of your summer reading activities. This can also be found on our Children’s Summer Reading Club web page.
The University Park Public Library and the Highland Park Library are joining together this summer to bring families an exciting schedule of virtual summer reading programs. You can find the schedule of virtual events on our Children’s Summer Reading Club web page. More information for attending these virtual events is coming soon.
Thank you to the Friends of the Highland Park Library for funding the Sharing Literacy book donation program.
