Learn how to access and download digital materials from the Highland Park Library with a Digital Books 101 course on Saturday, August 5. The first course starts at 11:00 a.m. and will cover downloading digital materials to Kindle eReaders, such as the Kindle Paperwhite. The second course starts at 3:00 p.m. and will cover downloading digital materials such as eBooks, eAudio books, and eMagazines to iPads and tablets.
Both courses should last approximately an hour. Advanced registration is required to attend. To register or learn more about the course, please contact the Highland Park Library at 214-559-9400 Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Attendees should bring their Highland Park Library card and their mobile devices to the courses since attendees will download apps and digital titles to their devices during the course times.
Highland Park Library cards are free for residents of the Town of Highland Park. Please visit the Library during business hours, Tuesday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., to fill out a library card application. The Library is located at 4700 Drexel Drive.
