Now Highland Park Library patrons may send documents, photos, and more to the Library’s printers from their smartphones, tablets, and laptops or personal computers through MobilePrint. The new service allows patrons to print from their mobile devices while in the Library, from home, or anywhere and pick up their printouts at the Library.
To print, patrons simply select one of the following options:
- Email documents to the unique email address of the designated printer
- Use one of the mobile printing apps for Apple and Android devices
- Upload documents to a customized web printing portal
Print cost per page is 10¢ for 8 1/2 x 11 and legal size black & white, 20¢ for 11 x 17 black & white, and 25¢ for 8 1/2 x 11 color. Cash only please. Patrons will need an email address and a computer, laptop, or device with an Internet connection to use mobile printing.
Once a print job is successfully sent to a Library printer, patrons will have 24 hours to visit the Library, during business hours, to pay for and retrieve their print job. The Library is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and is located at 4700 Drexel Drive.
The Library’s subscription to MobilePrint Service was made possible by a donation from the Highland Park Quality of Life Foundation. For more information on MobilePrint, stop by the Library and ask a staff member for an introduction; visit www.hplibrary.info, click on the “About Us” link, and then click on the “Mobile Printing” link; or call the Library at 214-559-9400.
Highland Park Library cards are free for residents of the Town of Highland Park. Please visit the Library during business hours to fill out a library card application.
