CALEA maintains a collection of standards which have been developed by public safety practitioners, and these standards serve as a professional benchmark for public safety agencies. With regard to the delivery of public safety services, the public hearing provides the community an opportunity to give feedback to the CALEA assessors: this feedback is an important component to the accreditation process for Highland Park DPS.
An individual may offer comments regarding the performance of services provided by the Highland Park Department of Public Safety in three ways:
• April 12th- By telephone: call in and speak with an assessor from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 214-559-9323
• April 12th-Public Hearing: 4:15 p.m., Town Council Chamber, 4700 Drexel Drive. The public hearing will close once every speaker has an opportunity to provide feedback to the CALEA assessors
• Written Comments- Those wishing to write to CALEA are requested to direct correspondence to:
