The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day took place on Saturday, October 26, 2013 and provided a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. HIghland Park DPS partners with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Dallas Area Drug Prevention Partnership (DADPP) to provide a collection site for the twice yearly event.
