The Town’s Park Department is responsible for the maintenance and beautification of 22 park locations and 12 miscellaneous traffic islands totaling 59.3 acres, 8 tennis courts, 3 playgrounds and the Town’s swimming pool facility. The largest park is Lakeside Park totaling 14.32 acres of highly landscaped grounds, located adjacent to Turtle Creek between Beverly Drive and Armstrong Parkway.

Each spring the Town parks burst into color with the annual azalea blooming. Over 8,000 azaleas come into bloom the last weeks of March and the first weeks of April. The azaleas are complemented by spring flowering bulbs, pansies, dogwoods, crabapple and redbud trees.
