OPERATIONS

The Operations Division consists of uniformed personnel designated to respond to and directly alleviate emergencies and other calls for service.  This division is the most visible department within the Highland Park Department of Public Safety.  The Operations Bureau is comprised of three shifts: A, B & C, all of similar characteristics and functions. In addition to traditional law enforcement duties, it is responsible for suppressing and preventing fires and responding to medical emergencies.
