TexShare Card Program
The Highland Park Library participates in the TexShare Card Program sponsored by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.

Requirements
The Library can issue TexShare cards to Highland Park Library patrons who are residents of Highland Park and have no outstanding fines or overdue items. The expiration date is six months from the date the card is issued, or the date the HP card expires, whichever comes first. As requested by the TSLAC, HP residents and family members, are required to have had a library card for a minimum of 6 months before being issued a TexShare card. To quote the TexShare website “The TexShare card is a privilege for those who can use library services in a responsible manner.”

Non-Highland Park Library patrons who wish to use the TexShare card that they acquired from their home Library to check out materials here are required to present a photo ID and complete a Highland Park library card application.
