Dallas Love Field’s Denton runway (13R/31L) is scheduled for development.
A reminder that construction on Dallas Love Field’s Denton runway (13R/31L) is scheduled from late 2020 through early 2022 for development. The City of Dallas reports the closure of the Denton runway will last approximately 9-months.
The closure will result in all landings and take-offs will take place on the Lemmon runway (13L/31R) during the construction period. A total reconstruction of the Denton runway is required given its age and condition. After 28 years of use, the existing runway has performed beyond its effective design life.
