Upcoming Public Workshop: Hackberry Creek Master Plan, January 25, 2018

When complete in spring 2018, the Hackberry Creek Master Plan will be a conceptual design document to recommend, prioritize and guide future design efforts for conserving and restoring Hackberry Creek. Resident input is paramount to the Plan's success

Improvements are intended to enhance the natural beauty of the creek and adjacent corridor, and meet the needs of future generations. The study will be limited to the Hackberry Creek channel, which begins near Byron Avenue and runs generally southward as the creek flows into Connor Lake. The handful of locations where the creek crosses private property will not be included as part of the study or possible future improvements.

Join us at the Hackberry Creek public workshop
On January 25, 2018, a public workshop will be held to exchange information and ideas about the Hackberry Creek Master Plan – an effort to develop conceptual designs for restoring and conserving the creek and its adjacent corridor.

The workshop will take place at the Armstrong Elementary School Cafeteria, 3600 Cornell Avenue, Highland Park, TX 75205.

An open house will take place from 6:00—6:30 p.m., with displays and maps for you to view. At 6:30 p.m., a brief overview and break-out group discussions will begin.

Resident participation is an important Highland Park tradition, and we look forward to your being a part of this work to ensure the continued preservation and enjoyment of beautiful Hackberry Creek.
