    The Highland Park Harvey R. “Bum” Bright Library and University Park Public Library have partnered to bring renowned storyteller Bernadette Nason to the Park Cities for a special storytelling event. The event will take place on Monday, October 29, at 6:00 PM, at the University Park Public Library, 8383 Preston Center Plaza, Suite 200, University Park, TX 75225. Join multiple award-winning storyteller, actress, and author Bernadette Nason as she tells her "Stories for a Dark and Stormy Night", lighthearted suspense stories without the nightmares.     For a second year, the Town has partnered with the Moody Family YMCA to bring you the Paws on Parade and Fall Fest. Bring the whole family including your four-legged friends! Dress yourself and your favorite pet up in costume for the costume contest. There will be face painting, balloon art, food and treats for lots of family fun and plenty of photo opportunities. Don’t forget to bring canned or bagged food for our Pet Food Drive, benefitting the SPCA of Texas.
